We found an official Genshin Impact art book on Amazon

Book learning alone is not enough to cultivate intelligence but with this Genshin Impact art book, we’re going to delve into Teyvat’s past.

The Genshin Impact art book cover featuring the Traveler twins

A couple of listings for a Genshin Impact art book are live on the UK and US Amazon sites, seemingly showing a Western release of the books currently only available in other territories. We’re sorely lacking some official Genshin Impact merch over here, so I hope this is real.

I’m not going to lie, I found this listing completely by accident while searching Amazon for Genshin Impact stuff last night – to be clear, I do not have any sneaky inside information and this hasn’t been officially posted by Hoyoverse yet, though the listings do call these books ‘The Official Art Book’.

Here are the Amazon US and UK listings for your perusal, listing the same art book for $35/£30, releasing on September 5 and August 31, respectively. There are no pictures detailing what’s inside of inside the book, just the potential cover and a description:

Delve into the world of Genshin Impact in this beautiful memento showcasing hundreds of illustrations.

[…] Genshin Impact: The Official Art Book Vol. 1 features gorgeous artwork that celebrates moments, characters, and storylines from up to Version 1.6 of the hugely successful game. Packed full of character designs, promotional art, character trailer art, and commemorative illustrations, this book is perfect for any Genshin Impact fan.

It appears that similar to the other territories’ releases, we need to wait for the second installment to get all the Sumeru and later-game artwork. If it is the same one coming to the West, we can expect plenty of pictures of our favorites like the ever-stoic Genshin Impact Zhongli, the adorable Genshin Impact Klee, and of course the pivotal Genshin Impact Traveler.

Though it appears that it’s an official Mihoyo account that listed these books, there’s currently no confirmation of a Western release of the art book. I hope it’s real, so I can sit by the fire and peruse it with a glass of Osmanthus wine, but for now, take it with a pinch of salt just to be safe.
